Anything i should be worried about? The check engine light is on and the 4hi and 4lo lights are blinking. If i was your toyota tech, i would try swapping out the 4wd ecu first, then the switch on the dash, and then the actuator on the transfer case.

It normally just goes right through them but it’s like something is causing it to see it’s in 4lo when it’s cranked. This can be done at any speed. When i turn the 4wd knob from 2hi to 4hi nothing happens. Before you head online and drop the cash on a new actuator, try moving the truck a short distance forward and backward. It happens with manual shift systems also, the only difference is that you know it doesn't engage/disengage the 4wd when the lever doesn't go in/out of gear.
